What We Know About The LT TOUR

As anticipation for LT1 and the LT Tour continues to build, Louies are continually on the look for any insight into the era. To keep sane during this waiting game, we examine what we do know about the LT Tour.

We Know...

1. THE LT TOUR SHOULD TAKE PLACE IN 2018

Throughout 2017 promo for Back To You and Miss You, Louis was asked about his album and tour multiple times. In interviews Louis hinted at a rough timeline for LT1 release, originally aiming for the beginning of 2018. However, his recent comments and social media posts indicate that he is still hard at work in the studio, with the release now more likely to land in the middle of the year. Comparing these releases to his band members' album-tour timelines, releasing an album mid-2018 and touring for the remainder of the year would not be an out-of-this-world assumption.

This is a video from Louis' interview with PopBuzz (Presents) on November 30, 2017 where he discusses the progress of LT tour planning:

2. THE LT TOUR WILL MOST LIKELY BE BASED ON THE LT1 ALBUM

Considering Louis will most likely not perform a setlist mainly consisting of One Direction songs, the tour will come after the album. The LT1 album will not be self-titled and will contain more than 10 tracks.

3. THE LT TOUR WILL TAKE PLACE IN SMALLER VENUES AND MIGHT GO TO BRAZIL & HONG KONG

Louis' Ask Anything Chat interview posted on March 7, 2018 granted us some interesting insights into Louis' LT Tour plans. He explains he's excited to play smaller venues on his tour and will "definitely" go to Brazil! Louis also tweeted a Hong Kong tourism Twitter that asked whether or not he intends to bring his tour to the city.

4. WE SHOULD EXPECT LT TOUR MEET AND GREETS THAT WILL NOT BREAK OUR BANKS

Twitter discussions about meet and greets in January sparked after Louis' team announced a Shazam contest to see Louis (which is now closed). The Shazam contest led into discussion of meet and greets on the LT Tour and Louis immediately assured fans that he would make the M&G process as affordable and fair as possible!

5. LITTLE BLACK DRESS MAY BE ONE OF LOUIS' CHOSEN 1D SONGS

As many know, the One Direction lads have all chosen 1D songs to sing at their solo concerts and appearances. Niall has performed: Best Song Ever, Drag Me Down, and Fools Gold. Harry has performed: What Makes You Beautiful, If I Could Fly, and Stockholm Syndrome. Liam has performed (some of): Long Way Down, Fireproof, and I Want to Write You a Song. Louis has performed (and absolutely nailed) Little Black Dress at his Key 103 LIVE performance - and everyone is praying he decides to sing this song on tour!

6. LOUIS HAS BEEN TAUNTING US AND MOST LIKELY WILL DO SO AGAIN

One of the first times Louies got a hint of the LT Tour was through the Back To You teaser video posted on YouTube. There were plenty of hidden messages throughout this masterpiece, but fans immediately caught onto 'LT TOUR 2018' written under a departures sign at the airport.

Our bet is on the possibility of Louis cleverly dropping more hints like this as we inch closer to the LT1 season!

7. LOUIS WILL 100% BE A PART OF THE TOUR'S CREATIVE PROCESS

Louis recently took to Twitter to confirm that he has had a say in the creative process of recent stage set up's. While the set designers and crew members work wonders to create Louis' dream stages, the singer-songwriter confirmed participates as much as he can! This means we can expect plenty of xx smiley's, bright colours, and an overall phenomenal stage display on the LT Tour.

Here's to hoping the LT1 season comes faster than expected and that every deserving Louie scores tickets to see their fav!

"May the odds be ever in your favour."
